“Entertaining yet confronting our believes and behaviours”
The 6 hour session on cultural diversity will take you on a journey of 5 steps from myths and stereotypes to cultural awareness to develop an understanding of diversity and good relations. It will allow you to work through interactive exercises to provide the foundations for understanding equality and give an insight on a diverse society. In doing so, you will be encouraged to work towards good practices and equality to make the environment and society a better and more welcome and inclusive place for all communities in Northern Ireland.
“Really enjoyed and gained knowledge to take forward to use in work and at home, as a parent also.”
This session will be facilitated by CRAIC NI’s training facilitators, Maciek Bator and Eileen Chan-Hu, from Polish and Chinese communities based in Northern Ireland, who have an extensive experience of delivering a range of programmes to participants from public, private and community sector in Northern Ireland and beyond.
