Help preserve the rich history, heritage and memories of the Rowallane District Electoral Area by becoming part of this exciting community heritage project.
Delivered by CRAICNI, Rowallane – People & Places will record the stories of local people and the places that have shaped their lives, creating a lasting digital archive for future generations.

What is the Project?
Through professionally recorded video interviews, photography and visits to significant local landmarks, participants will share their personal memories, family histories and connections to the Rowallane area.
Together, we’ll celebrate the people, places and shared heritage that make our communities unique.
Who Can Take Part?
The project is open to anyone with a connection to the Rowallane DEA, including:
- Current and former residents
- People with family roots in the area
- Community and voluntary groups
- Churches and faith communities
- Local history and heritage enthusiasts
- Schools, sports clubs and cultural organisations
- Anyone with memories, photographs or stories to share
Whether you’ve lived here all your life or your family history is rooted in the area, we’d love to hear from you.
